Albright is a town in Preston County, West Virginia, United States, along the Cheat River. The population was 247 at the 2000 census.

Located near Albright is the Virginia Furnace, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.[3]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²). 0.3 square miles (0.8 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (9.38%) is water.
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 247 people, 99 households, and 61 families residing in the town. The population density was 857.9 inhabitants per square mile (328.9/km²). There were 113 housing units at an average density of 392.5 per square mile (150.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.79% White, 0.40% African American, and 0.81% from two or more races.
There were 99 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.5% were married couples living together, 9.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.4% were non-families. 29.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.49 and the average family size was 3.06.
In the town the population was spread out with 27.9% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 31.2% from 25 to 44, 23.1% from 45 to 64, and 11.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 87.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.5 males.
